Privacy policy

Ryan Vale (Room 48, Ibis Business Centre, Al Rigga Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates) sells digital ebooks to readers in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Personal data may be processed in the UAE and by the processors named below. This notice explains what we collect when you browse, buy, or email us.

What we collect

Checkout and receipts use the email address and payment details you submit (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers). We keep order records, the titles you licensed, market/currency preference, digital-content consent where required, and technical logs needed to deliver files and prevent abuse.

Cookies and market preference

We use a necessary cookie to remember your cart and a preference cookie for the US, UK, or CA market you select so prices and checkout stay consistent. These are not advertising cookies. Continuing to use the store with a market selected indicates you accept that preference cookie for the session.

Why we use it

To take payment, deliver the ebook, send the receipt, handle refunds, meet tax and bookkeeping duties, and keep the store secure. We do not sell personal information. We do not use checkout data to train third-party models.

Processors

We use: Stripe (payments and Stripe Tax), Brevo (transactional email / SMTP), and our hosting provider for the storefront and CMS. Each acts on our instructions for order fulfilment and security.

Your rights

US customers may request access or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to records we must keep for tax and fraud prevention. UK customers have UK GDPR rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, and complaint to the ICO. Canadian customers may request access and correction under PIPEDA and applicable provincial laws. Email htetahyan@gmail.com to use these rights.

Retention and transfers

Order and licence records are kept for as long as tax and consumer-law rules require. If you are in the UK or EEA, transfers outside those regions (including to the UAE or our processors) will use an approved safeguard such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement where required.
